The structure of the ABS injection mold is determined by the type of injection molding machine and the structural characteristics of the plastic parts. Each pair of molds consists of a moving mold and a fixed mold. The movable mold is mounted on the movable plate of the injection molding machine, and the fixed mold is mounted on the fixing plate of the injection molding machine. During the injection molding process, the movable mold and the stationary mold are closed to form a gate system and a mold cavity. When the mold is separated, the plastic portion or other portion remains on one side of the movable mold, and then the plastic portion is discharged through a release mechanism disposed in the movable mold. According to the different functions of different parts in the mold, a set of ABS injection molds can be divided into the following parts: (content comes from the network)

1. A molded part giving the shape, structure and size of the molding material
Parts are usually composed of a core (male mold), a female mold cavity, a thread core, an insert, and the like.

2, pouring system
It is a passage for introducing molten plastic from the nozzle of the injection machine into the closed cavity. It usually consists of a main channel, a runner, a gate, and a cold well.

3, the guide
When the movable mold and the stationary mold are closed, the guide members provided to ensure accurate alignment serve as guiding and positioning. It consists of a guide post and a guide sleeve. Some molds are also provided with guiding members on the ejector plate to ensure stable and reliable movement of the demolding mechanism.

4, demoulding mechanism
Devices for demolding plastic parts and gating systems come in many forms. Common demolding mechanisms include a ejector pin, a top pipe, a top plate and a pneumatic ejector, generally consisting of a ram, a reset lever, a spring, a ram fixing plate, a top plate (top ring), and a top plate guide post/guide sleeve.

5, mold temperature adjustment system
In order to meet the mold temperature requirements of the injection molding process, a mold temperature adjustment system heater is required to adjust the mold temperature.

6, exhaust system
In order to smoothly discharge the gas in the cavity, an exhaust groove is usually formed at the joint between the mold parting surface and the insert.

7, and other structural components
Finger components (such as fixed plates, movable/fixed stencils, support columns, support plates, and attachment screws) are placed to meet the structural requirements of the mold.
